The Didge, The Land, and The People

This is a video slideshow that my friend David & I put together years ago. The music is performed by me on the didge and my buddy DJ "Will-da-beast" on the ones and twos (turntables). I use this when I give presentations about the didge, and the land and people it comes from. GOOD VIBRATIONS!

Asturias

I have always been a fan of Spanish Guitar. It is crisp. It is emtionally colorful. The Phrygian modes, I hear, were supposed (by the Greeks) to brink calm. It's interesting to me that now the Phrgian modes make us think of deserts and the marble and fountains of Spain. And Gypsies.

This is a beautiful piece with beautiful photography. I especially like when the player, John Williams, returns to the main theme at 3:36. It's like he's coaxing little streams of consciousness through my spine. It is an Andalusian breeze.

Teeth in the Grass

Sometimes I feel like such a fraud. I know everyone does. Elizabeth Lesser talks about it. Pema talks about it. Lama SD talks about it. I talk about about it. But now I'm in it. Totally in it. Standing in it. Walking with it. Sitting with it. Being swept away by it. Breathing with it.

I always do the same thing with it. Less so now. With more practice I'm better at it. Sure. But still. And...

"When we're brothers at last, there will be teeth in the grass."

So, like, what? I guess it's there. And do the work.

The worksies.

Try not to add more suffering to the pain.

Breaking it.

So many times I do the same thing. I didn't even know I was doing it. So many ideas of oneself crowd the mind like too many shops in a strip mall. Really, I didn't know I was doing it. Does that make me unconscious? What about accountable? My friend's "Guru-Bell" says all rules apply. Even the ones you don't know about. That makes sense.

That makes a lot of sense.

I wrote on Facebook, "Ah yes, my old friend." And yes, he's back. Or she. What does this person (?) look like? Pink, purple, moonlight, campfire, musky, rotten, loud like one of those horns lifeguards use to clear the beach? Not sure, but he/she is back.

I look over the edge of a cliff. Does this edge press back? Is there a barking doggie?

CIES DANCE

Here is a project inspired by the This I Believe essay "Dancing To Connect To A Global Tribe":

Try to check out the essay and the linked video on the website. You'll better understand the insanity of this video we made at CIES.

I get money

From: Trinity
Singer / Band : 50cent
Genre of music : Hip hop

YouTube links : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHObocY-fWY

Summary : I would like to listen to 50cent’s songs. He is a talented and commercially successful rapper. I feel his song has great beat and excellent rhythm even though those lyrics have a lot of slangs. Besides, his music videos are really creative. He seems to over other people’s thought, so his music videos tell that a real world, a reality of life. For that reason, I like his songs.

'Way back into love'

My favorite song is the 'Way back into love' by Hugh grant & Haley bennett.
This song is famous for the song appeared in 'Music and lyrics'.
In the movie, we can listen to this song at the climax, so we couldn't forget it.
Also Hugh Grant made us surprised 'cause he sang it like a real singer.

Where the reality is??

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_HMYYKrmLDs&feature=related

I believe sometimes we need a contemplative thinking, a critical thinking with some flexible for reaching to unriddle. In addition, what we need to know it. Moreover, that is depending on every one, because all of us have some differences and similarities in our ideas. Definitely, we can see that during our speech, but I believe all of us are looking forward to discover a big cluster mystery it seems like a blue mist or a dim life and so on. In contrast, sometimes it seems like a luminous sky. I believe our life is fluttering between these ideas a confusion and clarity like, a twilight zone. In fact, there is some interesting to discover a watershed among all of that. Now just keep listening and you can flutter to your thinking like what do you want with more freedom, as well as, you can ask and answer yourself where the reality is.
If we are, following these sentences what we will think about it about it.
How our feeling will be if rising tide became inactive?
How our feeling will be if sunset and sunrise are not subsistent in our life cycle?
How our feeling will be if our life become a drought emotions and so on.
Keep thinking …………?
Enjoy………..?

The Life Enigmas

The Life Enigmas

Do you know “How you can decipher anything is mystery’’ according what do you want to know about it or to be important for you to discover it?

If you knew that to any correct way you knew it, tried it and analyses it, then you got on the inference for understand it!!!!!!! If you got the answer after all these steps QUICK tell yourself ‘’I have a gift ‘’- ‘’I have a luck’’

BUT if you don’t have any way to know that!!! You are supposing to be informed and ask yourself ‘’how I know that?’’ ‘’Why I don’t know that ‘’to help and support yourself in the future for proactive to any sudden, something happen, and unexpected thing in your life.

To rather let you attention to anything new, even if was happy or sad. The key here is an attention before getting anything. All of these I think very important to understand an enigma of our life!!

Performance of Yu-Na Kim with "Only Hope" - Mandy Moore

Yu-Na Kim is a 18 year old Korean figure skater. When I saw this performance on TV,I totally fotgot that figure skating was a sport. I only thought that she looked so beautiful. Later, I came to know that the background music of this performance was from a movie entitled "Walk to Remember." I watched the movie as well and was strongly touched.

*Lyrics

There's a song that's inside of my soul
It's the one that I've tried to write over and over again
I'm awake in the infinite cold
But you sing to me over and over and over again

So, I lay my head back down
And I lift my hands and pray
To be only yours, I pray, to be only yours
I know now you're my only hope

Sing to me the song of the stars
Of your galaxy dancing and laughing and laughing again
When it feels like my dreams are so far
Sing to me of the plans that you have for me over again

So I lay my head back down
And I lift my hands and pray
To be only yours, I pray, to be only yours
I know now, you're my only hope

I give you my destiny
I'm giving you all of me
I want your symphony, singing in all that I am
At the top of my lungs, I'm giving it back

So I lay my head back down
And I lift my hands and pray
To be only yours, I pray, to be only yours
I pray, to be only yours
I know now you're my only hope

I love this song!

1-2-3 Like a bird I sing
Cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings
I’m so glad you’re here today
Cause tomorrow I might have to go and fly away
Hey!

Verse1:
I’m down to my last dollar
I've walk right through my shoes
Just a small reminder of the hell that I’ve gone through
But look at me still smiling
As I’m wondering what I’ll do
Since I ain’t got nothing
I've got nothing to lose
Everybody say “HaHaHaHa, HaHaHaHa”
My friends are always giving me
Watches, hats, and wine
That’s how I know this is serious
That’s how I know it's time
I don’t have to worry
About things that I don’t have
Cause if I ain’t got nothing
I've got nothing to hold me back

Chorus:
1-2-3 Like a bird I sing
Cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings
I’m so glad you’re here today
Cause tomorrow I might have to go and fly away
Fly away, fly away

Verse 2:
There’s nothing that’s worth keeping me
From places I should go
From happyville to lovingland
I’m gonna tour from coast to coast
I’m leaving everything behind
There’s not much that I need
Cause If I ain’t got nothing
I'm footloose and fancy free

Chorus

Look at me so free
Nothings holding me down(down)
Look at me so free
Can’t keep my feet on the ground

1-2-3 Like a bird I sing
Cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings
I’m so glad you’re here today
Cause tomorrow I might have to go and
1-2-3 Like a bird I sing
Cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings
I’m so glad you’re here today
Cause tomorrow I might have to go and fly away
Fly away, Fly Away, Fly away, Fly away
Fly

It really rocks!

Psychic spies from China
Try to steal your mind’s elation
Little girls from Sweden
Dream of silver screen quotations
And if you want these kind of dreams
It’s Californication
It’s the edge of the world
And all of western civilization
The sun may rise in the East
At least it settles in the final location
It’s understood that Hollywood
sells Californication

Pay your surgeon very well
To break the spell of aging
Celebrity skin is this your chin
Or is that war your waging

First born unicorn
Hard core soft porn
Dream of Californication
Dream of Californication

Marry me girl be my fairy to the world
Be my very own constellation
A teenage bride with a baby inside
Getting high on information
And buy me a star on the boulevard
It’s Californication

Space may be the final frontier
But it’s made in a Hollywood basement
Cobain can you hear the spheres
Singing songs off station to station
And Alderon’s not far away
It’s Californication

Born and raised by those who praise
Control of population
Everybody’s been there and
I don’t mean on vacation

First born unicorn
Hard core soft porn
Dream of Californication
Dream of Californication
Dream of Californication
Dream of Californication

Destruction leads to a very rough road
But it also breeds creation
And earthquakes are to a girl’s guitar
They’re just another good vibration
And tidal waves couldn’t save the world
From Californication

Pay your surgeon very well
To break the spell of aging
Sicker than the rest
There is no test
But this is what you've craving
First born unicorn
Hard core soft porn
Dream of Californication
Dream of Californication
Dream of Californication
Dream of Californication

If -- Bread

"If," a song indexed to album "Manna" (1971) by Bread, which is a superme band in popular music circles at that time. Soonafter Bread published this touching love song, it sold like hot cakes and became one of the most well-known melody on earth. As you can imagine, numerous cover versions come with the tide. Till now, if you listen to it deeply, this classic song still can tear your heart strings. In depth, "If" touches listeners' feelings not merely by its melody but also its gripping lyric, which seems ordinary yet full of real emotions that you and me, we all have.

If a picture paints a thousand words Then why can't I paint you?
The words will never show the you I've come to know
If a face could launch a thousand ships Then where am I to go?
There's no one home but you You're all that's left me too
And when my love for life is running dry You come and pour yourself on me

If a man could be two places at one time I'd be with you
Tomorrow and today Beside you all the way
If the world should stop revolving Spinning slowly down to die
I'd spend the end with you And when the world was through
Then one by one the stars would all go out
And you and I would simply fly away

Take a bow

"Take a bow" is a song written by Ne-yo and production-team Stargate for the re-release of Rihanna's third studio album “Good Girl Gone Bad”. The lyrics describe a female's viewpoint as her boyfriend is attempting to apologize after being unfaithful. She sarcastically tells him that his performance is "very entertaining", and to "take a bow" like he was performing on a stage. In my opinion, although there is a gentle tone to the lyrics, it actually conveys a tone of bitterness and even disgust. Anyway, I love it. Hope you guys enjoy it too!!!Here is the music video:

Here is the lyric:

How bout a round of applause?
Standin ovation...
Ooooh
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

You look so dumb right now
Standin' outside my house
Tryin' to apologize
You're so ugly when you cry
(Please)
Just cut it out

Don't tell me you're sorry cuz you're not
Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught

But you put on quite a show
Really had me goin'
But now it's time to go
Curtains finally closin'
That was quite a show
Very entertainin'
But it's over now
Go on and take a bow

Grab your clothes and get gone (You better hurry up)
Before the sprinklers come on
Talkin' bout 'Girl, I love you you're the one...
This just looks like a re-run
(Please)
What else is on?

And don't tell me you're sorry cuz you're not
Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught

But you put on quite a show
Really had me goin'
But now it's time to go
Curtains finally closin'
That was quite a show
Very entertainin'
But it's over now
Go on and take a bow

And the award for the best liar goes to you
For makin' me believe
That you could be
Faithful to me
Let's hear your speech
oh...

How bout a round of applause?
Standin' ovation...

But you put on quite a show
Really had me goin'
Now it's time to go
Curtains finally closin'
That was quite a show
Very entertainin'
But it's over now
Go on and take a bow

But it's over now...

wake up/ singer : hilary duff

This song is my favorit song~!
hero in this song is ourselves.
hilary duff have been very famous singer and actress, so many people like to talk about her like gossip.
But she doesn't like that because even though people don't know exactly about her, they talk about her.

Many people feel like Hilary duff, so I think she wanted to express this feeling
to everyone through her song.

Love letter

There is nothing in the world
That ismore wonderful than love.
When I got a love letter from my lover , I don't feel lonely anymore.
Eventhough, I live far away from him. I think, love is the most important feeling all over the world. That's why love lettersmake people 's feeling peaceful and happy.
I love this song.
I like her(Ketty lester) voice eapecially....

Love letters Straight
from your heart
Keep us so near
While apart
I'm not alone
In the night
When I can have
All the love you write
I memorize every line
And I kiss the name
That you sign
And, darling, then
I read again
Right from the start
Love letters straight
From your heart
I memorize every line
And I kiss the name
That you sign
And, darlin', then
I read again
Right from the start
Love letters straight
From your heart

Around The World by Monkey Majic

This song, Around The World, is by a band group,Monkey Majic. Two of the members are from Japan and others are from America. They live in Sendai (my hometown!!) and their live performances are often held in Sendai. Actually, I've never been to their live performances, but I saw them at a CD store!!

This song was a theme song of Japanese TV drama called 'Sai Yuuki (西遊記)' which is made from Chinese old story. In this video, a guy looks like a monkey is a main character of the drama. The actor is Shingo Katori who is a member of the very famous idol group, 'SMAP'.

I hope you like it!

-Lyrics-
Every night I look to the skies and wonder what we did.
Always a naive point of veiw that breaks us in the end.
If I could find the meaning of it all I'd take the chance.
Maybe in time, we'll walk the mile a change it if we can.
It's now and always,
How did we get this far,
did we get this far, now?
Always,
We're making a brand new start,
just a brand new start, now.
Always,
Nothing can hold me down,
never hold me down, now.
Always,
Wave goodbye to me!
Around the world,
I'll find out why we came to be.
Around the world,
the secret lies in side of he.
Around the world,
I'll find the hero inside me.
But don't run away,
'cause if it's not okay,
I'll change that world,
into something better, honey.
Night after night, we take our time in searching for the clues,
All we can find our situations, hard times to be through.
But when we side together nothing can get in our way.
Using our minds to fight the odds, now watch me save the day.
It's now and always,
How did we get this far,
did we get this far, now?
Always,
We're making a brand new start,
just a brand new start, now.
Always,
Nothing will hold me down,
never hold me down, now.
Always,
Wave goodbye to me!
Around the world,
I'll find out why we came to be.
Around the world,
a secret lies in side of he.
Around the world,
I'll find the hero inside me.
But don't run away,
'cause if it's not okay,yeah.
And you know it's gonna be raining.
And you know it's gonna be hard. (Hard!)
As long as we trust each other,
nothing gonna break apart. Oh no! No!
If you wanna be somebody,
get up on your feet and go-o-o-o.
I know we're gonna meet each other,
somewhere around the globe!
Around the world,
I'll find out why we came to be.
Around the world,
the secret lies in side of he.
Around the world,
I'll find the hero inside me.
But don't run away,
'cause if it's not okay.
But don't run away,
'cause if it's not okay,
I'll change that world,
into something better, honey.

Creep- RaDioHeaD

This song is from Radiohead's first album Pablo Honey released in 1993.

I like this band very much, but their videos are sometimes a little bit weird, so I decide to choose this live video. Otherwise, today is also the lead singer, Thom Yorke's birthday. I think this song may be meaningful. Hope you guys like it!

LyRic:
When you were here before, Couldn't look you in the eye
You're just like an angel, Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather In a beautiful world
I wish I was special You're so fucking special
But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?

I don't belong here
I don't care if it hurts, I wanna have control
I want a perfect body I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice when I'm not around
You're so fucking specialI wish I was special But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdoWhat the hell am I doin' here?

I don't belong here,
She's running out the door
She's running outShe run run run run...run...
Whatever makes you happy Whatever you want
You're so fucking special I wish I was special
But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?I don't belong hereI don't belong here...

On the other hand

When you say…..
‘’I can’t solve this ……’’
On the other hand, let yourself tells you ‘’I will direct my path’’
When you say…..
‘’It’s impossible….’’
On the other hand, let yourself tells you’’ everything is possible’’
When you say …..
‘’I feel all alone….’’
On the other hand, let yourself tell you’’ ‘’Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you’’
When you say…..
‘’I am afraid……’’
On the other hand, let yourself tells you’’ ‘’do not fear, for I am with you; I will help you and strengthen you’’
When you say…..
‘’I am tired ….’’
On the other hand, let yourself tells you’’ come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest ‘’.
When you say…..
‘’No on love really loves me …..’’
On the other hand, let yourself tells you’’ ‘’I love you ‘’
When you say…..
‘’I don’t know how to go on’’
On the other hand, let yourself tells you’’ ‘’I will show you the path’’

The great signification

For the good life to be persisting, it should have great signification.

If you don’t have meaning to your life, keep learning, thinking, and trying, ask yourself ‘’How I can find my purpose?’’. Mmmmmm !!!!! a lot of things / thinking - you can do it .Yeeeeeeees I can do it” that should be your answer .

If you can’t get on the love way which is suitable to you, I assure you in the future you will find that, maybe in this moment or next day or next year or a coincidence!!!

The most beautiful thing in life, is when you help someone to find happiness ,you will feel a nice emotion. Just keep going and searching in your own to let your life in the creative height.

It's been awhile. Don't have much to say. Been spending my time in Native American sweatlodges, learning the ancient, esoteric practice of Yoga Nidra and waking entwined int the arms of Goddesses. Life is pretty special. Wanted to show up and tell you all how much I love you. How much I love being triggered by your fucking asses. (That's not addressed to anyone in particular). Amrit Desai told us yesterday how the Virgin Birth (I was raised Catholic) is a metaphor for the Prana body being impregnated by Spirit and giving birth to Christ Consciousness. Pretty cool. Swami Rama has talked about the Apocalypse and how it's to be understood as an internal "falling away of the veil". What is this all about? Not sure. Just wanted to have something cool to post. Public School ruined me. Here's something else. She was a friend.

Godfather.

What does it take to be the "Godfather"? I guess a certain level of ownership. Ownership of the tools. Mastery. Maker of Space. Slayer of outdated things that need slaying. Unioning of disunioned particulars. Oneness and Manyness conjoined like a two person Voltron.

In a word....

Soul.

Jul 4, 2008

Happy Fourth of July everyone. A great big thank you to this country that took in my ancestors in. I am very happy to be sitting in my air conditioned office taking a break from my editing work to write a word or two. I usually sing the Star-Spangled Banner on this day (of course, in my own quirky way). I like to emphasize the question in the very last line of song. Just to keep it real and fresh. O say does it yet wave over the land of the free? Does it? How free is our land? I'm in media. I hate seeing slick advertising douche companies destroying teen girls' self image to try and to try and turn a quick buck. I hate seeing the environmental holocaust we're doing in the name of a quick profit. We all live in a county where fear and anger is turning our Home of the Brave into one of those college houses. You know, the kind with the carpet that's got stains on it and puke in the corner and beer bottles all around. This kind of ignorant behavior is really not good for anything. I mean, you know that right?

And so with that, I wish you all a Happy 4th. I wish that you all know happiness and the cause of happiness. I wish you all to be free of suffering and the cause of suffering.

Rising Sun

Listen to this loud. Not a great link, but the sound's good. It's how I'm feeling today. Not so much the lyrics, but the beat. Although, now that I think about it, what does "Shame on a niggar who tried to run game on a niggar mean"?

I'm reading Chogyam Trungpa's "Path of the Sacred Warrior." He talks about the World of the Setting Sun. This is our world. A world where people succeed on the backs of others. A world where people revel in the pain of others.

We can do better than that. That's what being a warrior really is. The tender heart of Great Sadness.

That's what bravery is. That's courage.

Dolphins

Sometimes I feel like a lonely dolphin. Just kind of swimming in the warm water offshore. I surface into an indigo night with a happy slice of moon lighting up the ripples I make.

I feel like I've been swimming for years. For eons.

The tide is in. The tide is out.

And then I hear them.

They're frolicking in the water near to me by a thousand miles.

Sound travels far in this wet environment

I can hear them laughing. They call me

I jump in a spray of froth and passion and swim.

Swim fast.

The Matrix

There are two things. One I am a little a sad about. I don't think I can talk about it so I'll talk about something uplifting. I'll pretend to be a bubbly, blond anchor at 6. Is that passive aggression? Probably.

I managed to manifest an exquisite Jean Paul Gaultier trench coat. I don't know how these things come to me. Ironically, we've got Michael Beckwith here at Omega. A friend and I went up North to the Hawthorne Valley Village and this nice professor of Eurythmy gave me the thing. It's like a $1300 coat. I would have worn it yesterday if the weather wasn't so hot.

It's cool. I'm going to wear it with some shined up Cesare Pacciotti shoes and some Hugo Boss Blacks and I'll look like Neo in the Matrix. That's kind of what the garment looks like. Sort of like a duster.

Yeah. I'll be like Neo. Blasting throught the Matrix in my own little way.

MY WAY

This song by Frank Sinatra

And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain.
My friend, Ill say it clear,Ill state my case, of which Im certain.
Ive lived a life thats full.Ive traveled each and evry highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way.
Regrets, Ive had a few;But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do And saw it through without exemption.
I planned each charted course; Each careful step along the byway
But more, much more than this,I did it my way.
Yes, there were times, Im sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall
And did it my way.
Ive loved, Ive laughed and cried.Ive had my fill
my share of losing. And now, as tears subside
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that; And may I say - not in a shy way
No, oh no not me,I did it my way.
For what is a man, what has he got? If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels; And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -And did it my way!

YOUR SONG

It's a little bit funny this feeling inside
I'm not one of those who can easily hide
I don't have much money but boy if I did
I'd buy a big house where we both could live
If I was a sculptor, but then again
noOr a man who makes potions in a travelling show
I know it's not much but it's the best I can do
My gift is my song and this one's for you
And you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it's done
I hope you don't mindI hope you don't mind
that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you're in the world
I sat on the roof and kicked off the mossWell
a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross
But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this son
It's for people like you that keep it turned on
So excuse me forgetting but these things I do
You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue
Anyway the thing is what I really mean
Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen

Shake-A-Leg Miami Song

This is authentic Miami folk music which has Bahamian & African roots and has given birth to a popular genre called Miami Booty-Base music. Here's a sample right from the source. This was made by a group of 4-5th graders from Liberty City Elementary School while they attended summer camp at Shake-A-Leg Miami.

cutest song ever!!!

well.. this video doesn't neeed much of explanation.. all i can say is its a must watch...

Hiromi ^_^

I don't know much about Hiromi Uehara, because I've just learned about her. However, what I've heard has been amazing.

This video makes my jaw drop every time I watch it. The music is incredibly complex and full of energy. The bass solo is fun to listen to. And it also helps that Hiromi makes crazy faces. ^_^

Corn is in the air

Allow me to explain. You see, there's this girl. A Goddess really. A queen. We don't work in the same department but we do work together here in Camelot. I have this unexplainable attraction to her. I don't know what it is. She's not my type. She's not crazy for one. For another, the astrology is all wrong. Or astrology is bullshit anyway. Whatever. I'm like nuts for her. She's sweet and wholesome and beautiful and I just don't know what it is.

So, she's a Virgo. Virgos rule the late summer when the corn is ripe. I keep seeing very green leaves taking the sunlight like little poems.

What am I even saying?

Maybe it's pheromones. Like she's a lady moth and I'm picking up her scent from 3 miles off in a night with a New Moon like a shiny black pearl.

That must be it.

Here's a little Joanna Newsome. Seems appropriate for some reason.

Roots of the Didgeridoo - Past, Present, Future

A video dedicated to indeginous people everywhere. Now is the time to learn from the people who have been snubbed for so long.

Didge - Ramin Yazdanpanah
DJ - Will Stith
Video - David Fermin

Most importantly perhaps is the didgeridoo's ability to transport the participants into a trance like state. During this trance, the aboriginal people maintain the connection with the surrounding nature and land, therefore maintaining their cultural identity.

"Traditionally, an Aborigine would go into nature and listen intensely to animal sounds, not just voices, but also the flapping of wings or the thump of feet on the ground. The Aborigine would also listen to the sounds of wind, thunder, trees creaking, and water running. The essences of all these sounds were played with as much accuracy as possible within the droning sound of the didgeridoo. For the Aborigine, the observation of nature immediately requires a state of empathy, which leads to imitative expression."

Gotta do it. It's on my mind right now as we approach tea time. I've been drinking green tea all day, but am getting a little sleepy and could use a little Slipknot. It's my first post. Expect more.

Brandenburg concert No. 3

Itala Núñez.
My favorite music is the music of the baroque period of the music classic. The barocco period was between 17 and 18 century and had a few great composers like Bach, Vivaldi, Hendel, Bocherini, and Teleman.etc. This type of music relaxes me and is wonderful. When I listen to it; I concentrate more in my study and enjoy more the books that I am reading
In among the others composer my fever is Johann Sebastian Bach, I like very much Brandenburgs concerts. When I am listening I think about something delicate, like beautiful flowers of different colors.
He is considered one of the greatest composers of all times.

Take me to your heart

This song came from the original Chinese song. My first time heard this song was from my friend’s MP3 .I feel very comfortable after I listened to this song. So, I would like to know who the singers. At last, I found the answer online. They are England singers. The group name is Michael Learns to Rock.

John Williams and the scores

Jose Luis Aponte Nuñez
I like different kind of music, but my favorites are the soundtracks, and one of those are amazing because all people know these songs It made history in the movie world and one of this is John Williams. He made the score of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, E.T, Jurassic Park, Superman, Home Alone, Harry Potter, Fiddler on the Roof and other important scores.
In my class, I use this king of music for the students to have inspiration in their works. I called music therapy.
Do you know how these children get fast the imagination for to writer stories?

Do I make you proud

Jose Luis Aponte Nuñez.
I like this song, because I'm a dreamer and I whant to fine the way where the dreamers are. I whant to fly higher than the eagles, looking at all world, and go to the place I whant.
I whant dedicate this song to my family, to my students from Los Robles School and Los Arcos School, to my teacher from CIES and finally to my classmates

Ray Charles & Blues Brothers

This is from one of my all time favorite movies, 'The Blues Brothers'. Ray Charles shows how to 'Shake a Tail Feather' and other classic dance moves. I wish everyone would just stop their day to day just to do mass choreographed dances. One day my friends, one day!!

Pandora Radio

Chibby-kid's blog about Musicovery prompted me to share a very good music site I use frequently: PANDORA RADIO. I love this radio website because you can type in a song name and it gives you lots of other songs that sound similar. And it provides music without commercials, which is always nice.

Amazing Ney! Nice Nay!

The middle eastern flute is called a nay (rhymes with nIce) in Arabic. In Turkish, it's called a ney (rhymes with amAzing). So I am confused as to what to call it.

Meshari showed me this ney/nay solo. This particular ney player uses Asian (Japanese, Korean, etc.) melodies and includes the beautiful bends and slurs common in middle eastern music. His performance is so strong!
