Asturias

I have always been a fan of Spanish Guitar. It is crisp. It is emtionally colorful. The Phrygian modes, I hear, were supposed (by the Greeks) to brink calm. It's interesting to me that now the Phrgian modes make us think of deserts and the marble and fountains of Spain. And Gypsies.

This is a beautiful piece with beautiful photography. I especially like when the player, John Williams, returns to the main theme at 3:36. It's like he's coaxing little streams of consciousness through my spine. It is an Andalusian breeze.
